The Birks o' Aberfeldy - Falls of Moness

One of Scotland’s most popular waterfalls, made famous by Robert Burns in his poem of 1787 ‘The Birks of Aberfeldy’.

The spectacular falls, with a bridge above them, are reached by a superb circular walk - ‘ The Birks of Aberfeldy’ named after the poem by Robert Burns’s. The footpath climbs steadily up the wooded gorge with beech, pine, larch and just a few birch or ‘birks’. You can walk directly from the centre of Aberfeldy or join the trail of about 4 km from the upper ‘Birks of Aberfeldy’ car park just off the A826.
