Falls of Feugh – Nature – Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray – Banchory

Falls of Feugh

Falls of Feugh

Waterfalls on the River Feugh.

These falls on the largest tributary to the River Dee are one of the best places in Scotland to watching salmon leaping.

These delightful falls, with their own special footbridge, are a short walk from Banchory  and one the best places in Scotland to watch salmon leaping as they return to their spawning grounds. Your best chance of seeing salmon is during a spate between September and November. There is ample car parking nearby and an excellent restaurant the ‘Falls of Feugh’.
