A superb family beach with plenty of shelter and rock pools at low tide.
A beautiful gently sloping beach with some small bays, it looks out to the Fidra island and its lighthouse. At low tide there are good rock pools to explore. The sheltered woodland and grassland behind the beach has a network of footpaths. The large car park just beyond the caravan park, has good public toilets, showers and water bowls for dogs. It is about 200 metres from the beach. Nearby is a children's adventure play area. From the beach there is an excellent walk along the coast to Gullane in the west and North Berwick to the east. Dog friendly. Seaside award.
